A Very Spanish Holidays
![]() ![]() ![]() |
I know, I know. I have been a horrible blogger. I haven't updated this thing in ages. So I am actually forcing myself to write this. In fact, this is a wonderful procrastination tactic when I don't want to do work at home.
So, in order for easier reading, I am breaking apart the 3 month write up into different sections. So, you, my humble readers can slag off at work and quickly read before your boss looks over your shoulders. Smart, ain't I?
Let's start with the end of the holidays. The trip to San Diego was a blast. The whole time was dealt with drinking margaritas and dancing flamenco, samba, rumba, meringue, you name it. We danced it. Oh it was like sweet monkey love. The thing is, a beautiful flamenco dancer was adopted into our family over the holidays. She taught us many moves. The kids absolutely loved it. I know I did. Oh, and Miss Flamenco Dancer? I promise, I will paint you your painting. I just need some time to get my studio ready.
The holidays also included going to my Dad's Doctor, whose house overlooked the ocean. And yes… his house also included margaritas.
But it wasn't all just fun and margaritas. We went to the beach and saved 4 little star fishes. I was humbled. So my nephew and I had to pose for the Tiger Crazy Monkey Claw attack move. Also, being the cold weather person that I am, I had to jump into the ocean. It positively, absolutely a must. It is sort of like a parallel to that cliche, "Why do we climb a mountain? because it's there!" Well, same thing with the ocean, "Why do I jump into the ocean.... it's there!" Oh and it was refreshing.
